the light shaft micro garden
I was asked to make an impossible space, an enjoyable one. For romantic evening meals, for morning coffees, for tranquil enjoyment of the fresh air.
The trickle of the water feature, the soft lighting, the quirky seating and a combination of real/fake planting due to the low sun exposure.
It is literally a light shaft illuminating the back of the kitchen space. I focused on the lovers seating and filling the space with eye catching items that enlarge the space sensually. As there’s so much to see, the space takes longer to soak in and has its own depth.
