Here we explore what typically happens during a project.

We reply promptly to all enquiries and arrange a day and time for the free site visit to listen to you and what you’d like to achieve.
We will then send you a confirmation of the appointment and relevant information so you know exactly whats going on.

During the friendly home visit, our aim is to understand you and your garden to make the most appropriate choices.
We will be looking to discover how the space will be used, what you’d like to see, a loose budget range and timescale expectation.
Along with this we will do a brief site analysis to measure/map the space and its orientation. This helps with design and accurate estimates.
After we have had a chat and had a look around. We will go away to create a written estimate for you that outlines the goals and scope of works. Usually within 36 hours.

Working from our notes taken during the home visit, we will create a written scope of works and a formal estimate that meet all the garden needs.
The scope will cover the project description, specification, finish, breakdown of tasks, timescales, access, project payment terms.
The formal estimate contains the price and will itemise where appropriate.
This is sent to you with no pressure or obligation. However, due to ever fluctuating material costs, they are valid for 30 days only.

Once the project has been accepted and the deposit received, we will schedule the works in at a suitable date.
We can then refine the design plans and make our material orders based on the correct specifications.
We will then begin the project works, using the right processes and methods to carefully create your garden space.
We keep the workspace organised and tidy with daily cleanups, respecting your home.
Every step is carefully considered, adapting to the situation at hand. All decisions with the end goal in mind.

Whether its lovingly fine sanding and oiling a decking installation, or, beautifully dressing a new plant border, we take pride in what we do.
After the works are finished and the final clean up complete, we will do a handover with you to talk through what has been achieved.
Following this we will send your aftercare information and the final invoice.

We provide aftercare documents on timber, landscaping, lawns and planting.
So depending on your project, you will receive one or more of these so you know what to expect and how best to support your garden.
Along with this we can also create maintenance plans and provide those services too. Such as follow up timber oiling or trimming of installed planting.

My entire career has been focused on property, building and landscaping.
Before I started my own business, I worked on the tools within carpentry, later with landscape gardening. I also worked off the tools in project design and consultancy.
